This is beautiful! So clear and inspiring. I never expected to end up in a 12 step program—I’m not addicted to any substance but my desperation to control the uncontrollable (that is, life and my emotional nature) led me to an all-addictions workshop using the Big Book of AA. There I found people who loved me unconditionally and a path of grace where my Higher Power did for me what I’d long failed to do for myself. The language of the book truly spoke to me as a Chaos Creator.
