Awesome article. I recently learned that my great-great grandfather was a slave trader at one point. I have so many Virginia/Southern ancestors that it’s a sure thing that some were slaveholders, although I haven’t found direct evidence. Yet.

I’ve long been aware of the need for familial healing — but thank you for opening my eyes to the need for ancestral healing!
